masking URLS

    I notice that alot of people mask URL's ... and there doesnt seem to be a problem with it.

    When you get HTML code from CJ, there is usually an image along with the URL in the code... but by masking my URL's, I wont be able to get that image to load.

    I believe the image works as a counter.

    Basically my question is: is it ok to mask links, and will it matter if I start getting sales, but no impressions are being counted? (because no image is loaded)

    I haven't noticed any changes when masking the links, I even go a step further and use wp-affiliate to change the links one more time.

    never had a problem with masking links either, but i dont think the img code has anything to do with impressions

    I pixel will fire for your lead no matter what. The mask image will do impressions, but you shouldn't have a problem with your leads anyway.

    Be careful. Masking URL is prohibited to use. Some advertiser they don't allow you to use masking URLs

    How do i mask an affiliate Url? On a html landing page, not wordpress.

    Is this fine to do when using PPC to the landing pages?
