Masking links?

I was wondering if there was anyway to mask links without breaking the rules? Right now they are automatically considered affiliate links. The problem is I don't want a google search for my links to return posts here where I am requesting diggs, stumbles, or whatnot. I'd like to suggest this be allowed in some fashion.

I guess they are just flat out banned. I just wish there was a workable solution because we can get banned from social sites for asking people to promote our links. It would be nice if there was some middle ground.

so your solution is to ask a webmaster site to allow you to break its own TOS so you can break the TOS of other sites

would you ask a cop not to shoot you because that gun you're pointing at him isn't really a gun, but a cabbage, because you asked smith & weston to make it look like a cabbage? ;)

Affiliate links, links with a referral ID, and masked links are not allowed in messages. The unbrella term used to describe such is affiliate links.

No, there isn't a way. Best thing to do is not do things you don't want the world to know about (including Google).
