Why does people start this post then go offline? Do they just want show hello hello i am here or something. My GF is 15 years younger then me and her fam is fine. I am also fine but in some coutries like Thailand if the FAM is not fine then no marriage.
There's no problem with marrying an older women. If it was me, I'd say f*** my & her family, if you & her are happy, that's the main thing. It's your lives, not your parents!
I beg to differ on that, while I believe that you should marry the woman you love, age should not be a barrier. It is best to persuade your parents rather rather than split with them. They are after all the ones that bring you up.

My lovely wife is 8 years younger than me , her family were never keen ( her mum's come round her dad probably never will ) but 9 years on we're very happy & have a great little family of our own . If you love her go for it IMO .
Why both families refusing ? is age the problem only ? But you should remember that your parents will never think about your bad.
As for me, there is nothing wrong marrying a women who is older than a guy... especially if the two loves each other... Yeah... family factor cant be avoided...
If you really and truly love her with all your heart and know for sure you want to spend the rest of your life with her, then you better marry her or you're gonna be hurting the rest of your days. Real love doesn't come around that often.

Age difference will in no way affect love and getting married; and if you think that your heart beats for your sweetheart, then go ahead and marry her. Persuasion is the skill you have to acquire to convince your family members. Wish you the best
