    ...from asking on forums such as cre8site about how to improve his onpage seo, markus frind and his site plentyoffish.com now has over 700, thousand backlinks and quite simply some of the best google rankings one could want

    Quite a turn around and quite a success me thinks

    sorry i phrased that very badly

    what i mean is, from starting not knowing the basics of seo, to now having a site that is so successful in the search engines is quite remarkable

    I think he got those links not from SEO but from being a market leader.

    I read somewhere that he already knew his stuff, and as far i as i remember there was some big hype about him on the 10k a day so probably good link bait..
