You might also check into creating small YouTube clips. I don't know how much competition there is on that type of thing but I'd imagine that there are a lot of people checking that site for the trailers and things.

Just like movies sites, Sidereel allows you to add links to reviews. Few people do this, so you could monopolize sidereel.

Additionally, you can contribute to imdb.com with a summary of your reviews, adding a link back to your site with the full review.

Another way is by spinning each review (rewriting it, basically) and post different versions of it on article directories (mainly ezine articles, but consider others as well). This will give you targeted visitors and back links, specially because ezine articles ranks high.

I recommend you title your articles like "[insert movie here] review", since that's pretty much the phrase everyone searches for. If you just post to ezine articles, I guarantee your articles will reach high rankings.

I also recommend you don't post the full review at ezine articles. Post a teaser, so that people will be inclined to click the link and go to your site.

So, that means high rankings + good backlinks + good targeted visitors.

You should consider having a blog section where you talk about celeb/movie related news. You dont have to write much, just copy and paste a couple lines from a news article and write a sentence or two about that news. Your blog article will be pinged and be included in all the blog search engines. If youre on the ball and putting up posts about current events you will get a lot of free traffic.

No problem. Another method is by creating an image gallery within your site with movie wallpapers/celeb wallpapers.

Tag them correctly, and optimize them for image search like "[insert celebrity/movie here] wallpaper" so that it appears on google/yahoo/live images. You will get good SE traffic from that and even more if you add your images to Flickr, watermarked, of course.

Which just gave me an idea. If you have the full wallpaper on Flickr, people won't visit your site because it's not necessary.

Flickr ranks really well when it comes to image search, so does Deviant art.

What I suggest you do is watermark your wallpapers completely: your whole URL going accross the image.

Of course, no one will want a watermarked wallpaper, so what you do is say on your Flickr/Deviant art description "visit [your wallpaper link here + anchor text with the title of your site] for the un-watermarked version" and they WILL click.

The unwatermarked version shouldn't be completely un-watermarked: add a little reference at the top right corner or something.

I write too much, I know :p maybe I should write an ebook:)

    sure thing, let me know.

Don't forget about imdb, since it's the place everyone looks for.

Hey, I just took a loook at your site, and frankly, here's my opinion.

The content is good, and your logo is pretty cool, but I don't like the site design. :(

what CMS are you using (if any?)

I recommend you get Joomla AND this template. It's paid, but it's definitely worth it, it's a very good template. I have it, and used it on one of my previous movie sites, and it's truly amazing if you learn how to use it.

If you don't like that one, you should definitely try this other template as well.

Both are very good, but I recommend the first one because it fits your purpose fully, and easily integrates advertisements.
