    Hi there,

I am trying to post a new sale thread for a website but everytime i click post thread it shows me a error that the domain is already listed for sale and you can bump/relist the same.

But the problem is that, that thread was create by the old owner of domain somewhat a year ago and now he does`t look to be active either. Please see what is the issue here:

    Domain: webscanup.com
    Old Thread: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/for-sale.2548724/

At this point in time, if a domain has been listed previously by anyone, a new sales thread is not allowed. This cuts down on banned members creating a new ID and attempting to ignore their ban.

But as i mentioned above the old thread was made by the old owner and if you check you can verify this by checking IP logs or any other system that you may have.

Isn`t there any way for me to make a new thread? I just contacted the old owner by phone and he said he don`t see any option to close that thread.

You missed the part, "At this point in time, if a domain has been listed previously by anyone ... ." My best advice is do not buy a domain from anyone on Digitalpoint and plan to resell. We are aware of this particular situation.
