    Lots of different ways. PPC, SEO, local papers, online directories, promotional gifts, Alliances with others such as Alternative health, nutritionists. (You promote them, and they promote you). I would also try networking, trying different network groups to see which worked best for you.

    Do you mean online or offline?
    If online then its easy,you only need to buy some advertisement at fitness site such as blog.
    And ask the fitness blog owner to put your gym banner at their site.

    find your niche.Then do the keyword research. then bring traffic to your site

    You can do it by PPC, forum marketing, yahoo marketing and etc..

    thank you all for sharing these ideas.. some of these i already knew but there are some new as well. first, i would like to ask Woodley about SEO and PPC, 'cause im not sure what that is?

    @double-s: customer type i target are local people of all age, men and women, so i'd just like to know what are some other ways of promotion of my gym.... if anyone has some original ideas related to gym, please share with me. thank you
