I just started a really nice blog with some great information on my area. You can view it at www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/big-island-info. The questions now is what to do next. I feel that it would be really useful to anyone visiting my area with the information that I will be adding. Should I submit it to blogcatalog.com or other blog areas like that? How do I make sure I get the credit for content? Thanks for any input.
Make sure to add it to directories and post your link to any do-follow places. this will get you indexed in google and then keep gaining backlinks and eventually you will get good traffic. but at this point just keep adding original content to your blog and gaining backlinks whereever you can.
If you say you have great information, you can write articles in Ezinearticles.com. Be sure to follow their guideline when you post there. At the bottom of your post, you have a spot for you to put your link there.
You should write and submit articles to article directories. Also be active commentator on related blogs and guest post on good blogs.
