    Hello,

I believe the YouTube is a good channel to drive visitors to my product and site. People can find my video, then visit my site and purchase the product.

The question is - how to promote YouTube video? For a site the better option is having more backlinks to the site. What about YouTube and other video sites? What is the most important?

If any one have a positive experience in promoting video and getting high number of visitors.

    Thank you!

Backlinks to a Youtube video don't affect it in the SERPS. Without a doubt, the most important factor in Youtube SERPS is view count...if your view count is high, you will have an almost guaranteed 1st page ranking for the keywords in your video title.

Let me know if you'd be interested in having your videos getting a view boost...I provide direct hits to Youtube vids and can easily rack up 30k views a day for an individual video.

Either create an amazing video that's capable of reaching the first page and then expect it to make it to the first page OR hire some people from B/S/T section that are offering YouTube views. I've never tried it but if it works then it's worth it.

I've only seen good vidoes making it to the first page!

And what about getting traffic from the video?

As I understand YouTube doesn't allow direct links to my site, so the only options I have:
    1. Mention my brand in video
    2. Mention the URL of my site in video
    3. Use URL in my profile

Is it correct or I'm missing something?

I've always used camtasia for making videos, but I've never recorded from my screen.

For getting traffic you can (like mentioned) link to your site in the video description, and watermark the video with your site url. I'm not the best to give youtube advice, as I have only utilized videos a handful of times, and it's never sent me a TON of traffic...BUT it was always good for a relatively small but steady stream of visitors. The way I always went about it (and like I said, for this subject there are people here that know much better than I) was utilize the standard bookmarking channels (digg, stumble, a few dozen others) and blast video responses to all the related vids I could find.

    good luck...

If anyone can share his results in numbers, e.g. how many trackable visitors did some video brought to you? How many videos you have online?

If your video is appealing, you will have no problem spreading the words.

Im guessing not many people here use youtube marketing, or they just don't want to tell you....or maybe people just don't know

but a quick way is to simply use your video as a VIDEO RESPONSE to a highly viewed related video :D

make your video viral and don't make it too promotional of your product - people hate this
