Marketing with YouTube - Its possible!

I've seen quite a few questions and discussion about using YouTube as a traffic source, I decided to write a blog post about it.

The casual surfers percentage in youtube is quite higher and I have seen many super affiliate videos marked as scam and some offensive comments. I think marketing in youtube about digital products is more difficult than other advertising methods.

 

Does not sound easy to me because i don't think that it will get mey click thorough's, i mean people generaly watch there video then click off the page to watch another.

Pure speculation though.

I Read Your Article for Youtube it was very nice, really youtube is usefull for small company's for advertisement on internet, why because now a day people are preffered to internet to increase knowledge and entertainment.

I have been using youtube for almost 2 years to promote my forum. My youtube account was opened in April of 2007. And between then and now I have posted around 320 videos.

On average my videos are viewed between 10,000 - 15,000 times daily. This provides my site with a steady stream of people to my forum and blogs.

Youtube promotion is a lot easier then most people think. Just make the videos about a certain topic, keep the content interesting and people will watch. The more people that watch your videos, the more people that will visit your site.

 

Yup.. I dont have a ahrd time believing this.

I am just too lazy to upload so many videos.. but youtube is one of the top 5 most viewed website..

It is without a doubt one of the best way to get traffic, plus people rather watch videos than read

 

320 videos :O that's amazing. I have 10 videos on a niche site in Spanish which generates me around 50 visitors per day. I've noticed that its super easy to get traffic from Youtube if you promote videos with keywords in Spanish.

 

I Think that this is the most important and newest strategy on e-commerce MKT , and to promote a site , as the same as Facebook groups and ads.

 

I also do a lot of youtube promoting and ~Kev~ hits the nail right on the head.. youtube alone brings in more hits to my sites than any other method I've ever used and no not every one converts to a sale but far more than I expected when I started.

Wow, that's a lot of traffic - I've signed up for youtube to market my products...I'm realizing that I better get some videos up to start driving traffic. Thanks for the great tips.

 

I've gotten quite a few visitors to my site using YouTube also - not many conversions to sales though, but that's probably due to my sales page being crap

Still, it is one of the more 'fun' ways of generating traffic, I really enjoyed the whole film making process.

 

Think I might give it a shot.

 

Probably the you tube video would need to be very popular. But sure if you got the talent then go for it. If it works then it could possibly give you more traffic than a successful Digg article.

 

You don't need that much skill. Just a compelling voice with a good vocabulary and you're set.
