Who here uses Twitter? I think Twitter has some good potential to be another good social media platform. It seems like it is a fairly simple way to connect to thousands of people on the web.

I have a very small following (35+) however I do use it occasionally for social bookmarking and have seen several sales come from it. I would suggest using it for that purpose.

I think it is most beneficial if you can get a good amount of followers that are in the same niche as you are.

I use twitter every once in awhile. What I am working on is building sites off of twitter (twitter applications). That's where the money is going to be at :)

I use Twitter daily, every time I make a new post on my blog it´s updating my Twitter automatically.By getting followers in your own niche and tweeting about other things than marketing too. It´s surprising that people are interested in what you do during the day.

I'm using twitter to write all my daily activities since i got no time to update my blog. So anyone who follow me can easily tracking my activities.

I've been using it with varying degrees of success. I'm still trying to figure it out the best approach myself so I'll be listening with interest.

I think its a pretty good idea. Especially if you have a likeable blog. I have been thinking about doing it for my company, but again, I don't think it really meshes with social media.

I have over 120 followers, so I use Twitter to pimp my blog posts - the really good ones, anyway. Then my traffic and comments on the blog go up, creating more regular readers, which in turn generates better ad clicks.

BUT! I don't openly sell or pimp on Twitter, because that's really annoying. I have unsubscribed from several Twitter-ers because all they did was sell sell sell. Besides, Twitter will ban your ass promptly if you get annoying.

I don't openly promote or sell on twitter I just use it as another place to connect with people in my niche. Sometimes it can result in requests for SEO services.

Twitter is a different beast, I have yet to master/get a handle on it...

The 2,000 Twitter FaceBook Group have completely flooded my inbox (facebook friend request, and Twitter follow)

This SMS marketing thing is very interesting... and I think will be big in the future...

What I've done is I have a following who generally will read every tweet I post because they are interested with my life. Every 3-5 days I will throw in a tweet regarding a product on sale on my site and have a trackable link they can click on so I can track visitors and sales generated from that link in my tweet.

I love Twitter. I sometimes don't have the time or the patience to read an entire blog post to find out what a mate of mine is doing.

I am fairly new to twitter, but have made one sale through it already, and I have never actually sent out and ad!

Well so far we are getting a nice spike in traffic to our site from twitter. Don't know if any is converting though.
