Marketing with Favicon - How To Put Site Title Next to Favicon?

I've always thought the favicon is a great way to add the "brand" to a site. I have been able to add the logo as the favicon but...

I have not been able to put the site title next to the Favicon in the URL address box? I have seen this implemented on secure sites like major banks and phone companies but can't figure out how they did it. Any ideas? CSS?

I do not have any SSL on my site. Maybe it's a feature only for secure sites.

Yes, it only shows with some high-end SSL certificates.

yup its only for well known SSL certificates, it's the browser that does it itself.
