Does anyone use Ezine to successfully market their site or blog? Does it bring much traffic or SEO difference? I'm interested in this quite a lot. RM
Yes, Yes and Yes. Off course a lot will depend on the quality of your articles and what type of niche your focusing on. Also, google has a lot of love for Ezine.
Any tips or advice for getting started? Is the idea to use anchor text links in the article point to your sites?
Yes, Ezine would certainly drive good amount of traffic, if the posted article is worth reading. Always make sure the Posted Article Should maintain a keyword density of 3-5% and good and new content. It should not be look like a promotional Article. According to my experience with Ezine, if the article is providing some worth reading information, the posted article would get a good amount of visits. If the reader is interested to know more information about you or your services, you would anyways has the Author's Bio providing your website and contact details.
I have 6 live articles on ezine and the hot topic for me is real estate. So, I get a lot of people reading my articles and checking me out. So, yes it depending on your niche. Quality of Article. You can certain hire someone to write for you and there is a section for that here on DP. I answer some questions and suggestions for article marketers here: http://tinyurl.com/65yns8
Ezine is one of the best article submission site. Instead of traffic you will get a valuable backlink from ezine
It depends on the niche and how catchy your ezine title is! and you should have the knack of driving the ezine visitors to your site. If you are successful in driving ezine traffic, it is considered as a good quality because of the targeted nature and BTW, I have 50 articles approved in ezine but I hardly get 10 visitors from ezine to my site these days...
If you want some idea you can see the live experiment I recently did here: I updated it with full stats yesterday: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1165697
That site has definitely help with creating backlinks and increasing traffic to my sites. It's the most visited article directory.
Ezine is the first in my submission sites list. You can't go wrong with ezine as long as your article contents are worth reading.
Yes it is useful to build a list, takes time and energy of course. You must find a niche or don't plan on finding much of a response.
I agree, it's a great article directory. But I suggest you also to use other article directories too, the more the better.
Ezine has helped bring a small amount of traffic to my websites but the SEO value of the backlinks trump that of traffic. So in all I submit one article per site per week and it has helped a lot.
I'll give you my realistic numbers. Let me just say that others may have received better results than I have, but in my experience with article marketing a good converting article will send about 3 visitors per day. Most are 1 every few days. Since this is the case, it may not sound worth it. But, really, it is a long term investment because the articles typically will send consistent targetted traffic for a long period of time. With that being the case, over time, it seems like a worthy investment of your time. You can't expect to see a 100 visitor jump (normally) from a single article.
Guys, you're veeeery confused! An ezine is a periodic electronic publication mainly sent by email. You're not talking here about ezines, but about a certain website called "EzineArticles dot com" where you can submit articles that once accepted and posted online may or may not be used by ezine publishers for publication in their ezines. That's a big difference ...
Ezine is one of the best place to drive traffic to your website. I can say it bring you 100~1000 traffic from single article as per my experience.
Yes, Ezines can be very effective, but it is something that you have to do continously! Correct article writing is also very important for great success
For me personally, research is key with having success using articles + ezine to get traffic/sales/backlinks... If you're in a garbage, over saturated niche then you will get nothing. But if you do your research right, and write a good article using a low competition/high demand keyword in the title and a couple times throughout the article, as well as in the resource box, you will get traffic out the ying yang. I wrote 1 article 8 months ago, after some good research, sending traffic to a BANs site I have. And still to this day, that article is responsible for 500-700 hits to my website. 1 article. It's awesome when done right.
While just about everybody here posts without really knowing for sure what is going on, which is typical here, I think I will ask first: Are you talking about ezinearticles.com? Regardless, you write for the sites' visitors, not for the search engines. That is, if you want visitors.
