Marketing using bookmark sites ....

Well it seems that i don't realy get it ... how you market with bookmark sites ?

For exemple i know this sites :

http://www.simpy.com
http://www.shadows.com
And don't know how to market with them ...

i use this method for 3 of my sites, i do accually get abit of traffic from them. I use Delicious - http://del.icio.us and digg - http://www.digg.com allthough i know there is many many more.

I do it mainly for backlinks than traffic really.

 

Geting good traffic can be a bit hit and miss with these kind of websites. You can easily submit your own bookmarks or links for sites like digg.com but you need other people to bookmark them aswell and thats the tricky bit. If you have loads of online friends you can ask them all to bookmark your site and then maybe your bookmarks will get more exposure on these sites and more and more people will bookmark them and also visit your site.

Other sites you could try include, blinklist.com and del.icio.us

 

social Bookmarking site is great source of traffic, but they all are oversaturated.

 

well as i know, delicious is really nice marketing place, but not so easy,
i had a site that got like 70-75 entrance from del.icio.us per day and it took me 2-3 months to reach that, by send the bookmark to thousands friends etc.

but this traffic is really good, and focused to your website subject
