Marketing URL Shortening Site

    I put together a URL Shortening site http://www.shrnkr.com and would appreciate any helps on ways to drive traffic and get users ... Thanks

    I would promote it through forum signatures. Think about what your target audience would be - sites that have long URLs in which a user would want to use something a little more managable.

    Yes forum sigs is a good way. Just hop on all the relevant forums and start posting. Try the domain forums.

    What makes one URL shortening site better than another? I use tinyurl.com and always have. Why would I switch?

    here is a reason :) tinyurl has a preview feature meaning that the user ends up on the tinyurl site instead of the site you wanted them to visit. my http://www.llfk.com does not have such a feature.

    The preview link is optional. They give you the regular link above it and that's the one I use. Try again. :)

    There is no such thing as preview link :) Visit tinyurl.com, click the "preview feature" option in the menu, and click the "enable previews" link. From now on you will ALWAYS end up on tinyurl site instead of the destination site.
