Anyone currently marketing a website to a 100% women's demographic? Just looking to see what your website is about/URL and if you are having any success. thanks
I have been running a blog geared towards plus size women. They are a market and they are highly ignored. I just started the blog about 6 of months ago. I am having difficulty with one of the merchants I am trying to become an affiliate of. I guess my traffic stats aren't what they want it to be yet. I have been writing articles and trying to build my blog up slowly. So far I can't complain about the sales. I don't want to post my URL b/c the angle of this market that I am targeting to doesn't have tons of competition.
thanks for the great information. Without giving away any secrets, may I ask what you are making any money on promoting? ebooks? CPA ads? Adsense? Paid membership? What product area are you making the most off of ?
I am an affiliate of plus size stores. I promote clothing for a very special time in a woman's life. I don't place any Adsense on my site. I feel that it takes the focus away from my content and away from my affiliate links that I place in my content. I would rather make a possible $5-10 per sale than maybe 10 cents from someone clicking on an ad.
I market exclusivly to women and I am successfull. I have services and products. The service are local only because the women have to come to me, but for the products, I sell world-wide.
Yeah, one of the things I do is to sell to women. E-book, softcover book, and, a subsription site for black women. One is thelist.fm/forwomen. The other is thelist.fm/sbw.htm. So far, so good. Curious...why are you asking this?
because out of the various websites I have-- those for men are earning decent money. However the only one I have that targets 100% women is making ZERO. I have tried targeted Adsense, Clickbank ebooks, Azoogle surveys, shareasale products, cpalead surveys, Amazon products, targeted CJ products, Kontera and Adbrite and NOTHING works. However, any of the above products worked for me with men.
I write tons of Astrology articles which (judging by the comments) attract mainly female readers. They generate ads from Horoscope sites and anything else I include in the content...
