Marketing stuff you're glad you bought

    What tools, software, directory submissions, search engines, SEO tools, links ..are actually worth spending money on (if any)? There are "free" versions of most of these things, but is there anything you're really glad you bought/subscribed to? What and why?

    Thanks Roxyyo, that's a good idea since about.com results top the SERPS for lots of keywords.
