    Guys. I have read a few tips here but I would like to gain more feedback/experiences from you.

    Would love to know what strategies you have made to increase membership/visits in your online communities.

    All avenues, ideas and strategies welcome.

    The best place to start is other online communities.

    SEO your site ( On site=Keywords, mata tags, and description and so forth. Off site=Directory links, sig links, and paid links on high traffic and PR sites and everything else.

    Email your members monthly, to get back some lost users.

    Communicate with your users. ( Be there if they need you. )

    Do all those and have patience. :D

    well before you even consider SEO, make sure you have mebers on the site already so people are more persuded to join, maybe invite all your friends to join the site? An ad in a local newspaper maybe?
