Good Afternoon, I work as an intern in an private English school in Dublin, Ireland. One of my projects is to find new promotion strategies for the school. The problem is that the market has flooded, the schools are similar, most of them offer the same services (timetables, accommodation, social events). As the school is not very old (about 3 years old) they are still improving their management strategies. Their advantages are mainly the low prices and social events; but in my opinion, not strong enough; students come mostly from Spain, Italy, France, Western Europe. What could make the difference so that students come here and not somewhere else? What is the best way to promote the scholl? Where> Flyers, posters, partnerships abroad? With the new digital age to make it you have to have one of two things. A strong niche or a strong brand. Since the school is new they will have to have a niche, even in education. So what can they offer? There are all kinds of different approaches to education. My personal favorite is the philosophies of William Glasser and Choice Theory. But as the administrators and see what their over riding theory or philosophy is and then market yourself that way.
Well, the school is quite small, only 7 classrooms, their moto is low prices, good teachers and fun social events, i don't think the director has a specific philosophy, the teachers are friendly, and we try to take students out at least once a week, so that they enjoy the city.Bu i will ask anyway.
