    I was wondering which research tools you guys use to research a business niche to build a niche based blog/website.

    I use:
    Google Keyword Tool - keywords
    Google Insights Tool - keywords demographics
    Alexa - competition
    I Web Tool - backlinks on competition
    Yahoo link - backlinks on competition

    I would really like to see what you use

    Pimitive tools such as Google Adwords allow you to determine the payout of the keywords :)
