Ok I made a website simmilar to digg, delicious... and now I would like to start with some serious marketing.... What are your suggestions ? Do you think adding an ad revenue sharing program to my script would make users to publish posts ? For example, if you post a story the ads that will appear while reading that story will be yours...
Well what you can do is try revenue sharing.. but it's best to find people who want to use your site because they want to market their site... What makes your site unique from digg etc? Find out.. and then get some press released in other blogs.
I guess that what makes my site unique is possibility of including google video and youtube and possibility of adding stories as news, pic or videos. The website is also available (currently) in 2 languages. Thank you for advice Severything
think buying posts in popular blogs is a good approach for your needs. You might also want to seriously think about a creative viral publicity stunt if possible. Some kind of competition? challenge? These are really effective in getting your site known in short time, the catch being, thinking of something good that will make ppl interested.....
