Hi there, In my recent post http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=104316 i had a general marketing question, and i think it was too general and i need to rephrase my post, I just finished developing a Fantasy sports site, a revolutionary one, i have a big marketing budget (400k $), the missions as i see them are, First bringing traffic to my site (targeted one that will play in my game) Second Branding. In my budget as i see this, i believe that i will need to use 50% of my marketing budget (400k) on CPM advertisement, and i believe that google adwords doesn’t fit my needs. I would like to know from u experts, do i need to use a marketing company that will buy the media for me? what are the advantages? do i need consulting? if u think that yes, what are the advantages, and what about the costs? Thanks
I'd recommend you work with a media buyer definitely with a budget at that level. I'm not really sure what companies to recommend, but I'd also go with a reasonably well-known one with strong proven placements, especially as far as the Web. If it's so revolutionary, you should be building a pre-release buzz with public relations first (generally free to cheap tactics). With the niche, you may even benefit from a television ad (if it works for poker sites, why not something like this?). I haven't seen it done yet, and it would be pretty unique. Of course production costs and tv ad placements are pretty expensive. Jenn
thanks, Can you please tell me, Those media Buyer Companies, how much they Charge, assuming that my Budget is 400K $, i need to expect them to charge?
