Has anyone had any luck marketing on Twitter? BTW you can follow me on Twitter here http://twitter.com/WebGazelle
lolz nice way to increase your twitter count.. I haven't tried marketing on twitter but I am sure people do get traffic and that is the reason why people use twitter so seriously. see techcrunch and problogger
here is my twitter account http://twitter.com/vbsetup I use www.ping.fm to propagate my status to several social networks.. I suggest checking it out.
to be honest, I didn't have any dramatic results from using Twitter, I guess it depends on number of followers... Should be at least a couple of hundreds, I think. Here is mine http://twitter.com/seopro - U follow me, I follow U
I've started mine a few weekes ago and have'nt seen any big response from. Mine is http://twitter.com/hotbuckles follow me!!
i think it would be good if members here could add their social profiles to their usercp problogger wrote a post asking for people to submit theres and he got hundreds http://twitter.com/jp135
drop me a message here, if you started following me. I've got 3 new followers, not sure if they are from DP...
I don't have the link bookmarked, but DoshDosh.com has some pretty in depth and helpful articles about Twitter marketing. Definitely worth the read!
Most of the ones I just clicked on have no content or followers. Like every other marketing aspect, you can't do something half-assed or spammy and expect results.
well I have got traffic before by using pownce/twitter/plurk. Especially my pownce account because I have over 1,300 friends on there. My twitter ive got nearly 400 followers so I do get a goo dnumber of replies of there. Plurk is good to because people are more likely to respond to you on there. Ive got about 500 friends on there so I generally get about 20 reponses to each plurk I send.
I've been using twitter for a month or so. I get some traffic from it, it's a little different to work with, You have to be able to say something interesting in 140 chars. And continue to say things worth reading.
