    I had the same problem with CL. I posted legitimate ads and they are not showing but all the SPAM ads are there :(

    Crags list is uselly recommended to me when I talk to people offline.

    That is why spam persists. About 10 to 20% of the population buy stuff from spam.

    My wife bought something online from a pop up spam and I was ticked.

    I hate pop up spam more then anything but perhps I should be using it.

    I don't know how they choose ads to show but they choose some of the wrong ones.

    How long are the spam ads up on CL before being taken down? Or are they just not being noticed?

    I think they are logging IPs these days and try to ban your post (not appearing) if you post more than 3 ads within 7 days...
    Did you post more than 3 ads in past 7 days?

    Hmm I've had the same problem. I found out how to fix it with a new trick I developed. I'm never going to release it, becuase that means more competition to fight....
