Marketing of a site by running a contest

    Hi,
    I am planning to run a contest on my site to increase the no. of vistors.As i am using joomla platform for my site,Is it ok to run a contest on Joomla site or should i use some other platform to run that contest?
    Please help me out

    Platform doesnt matter... just need to have a good prize, market it well and have a sign up form. Good luck with the contest.
