Help!

I need some help with marketing my new site. Any ideas would be helpful

The domain is quikclassified.com

 

Try these:
- forums signature
- posting on other classified ad sites
- blog commenting
- social networking/bookmarking

 

Submitting to thousands of directories will secure you pr and better search engine rankings as well.

It seems to be centered around Louisiana, so I'd do a search for websites specializing in Louisiana content, such as blogs, and real estate sites.

If you're trying to expand to nationwide, then you may want to reorganize the layout.

Maybe special discounts or free listings for to attract sellers. Then start advertising via Yahoo and Google to attract buyers. If it is localized to Louisiana, then do the ads for just your state.

Do some SEO for traffic and try to get top search results in google since you have a top searched keyword in your domain name.

 

I guess the SEO portion of this is the hardest for me.

 

You shoud use PPC advertising, writing articles/blogs with signature. Posts forums with signature and use RSS feed.

 

The RSS feed thing I can not understand. I guess I need someone to show me how the first time. I have read all kinds of thinks about RSS feeda with no luck. I don't get how it updates automaitcaly?

 

Here are a few things you can do to really boost your traffic:
- SEO
- PPC
- Forum sig
- blog
- Social bookmarking sites (use digg for short term traffic like about a day or two and use stumble upon for long term traffic)
- Try and crack JV deals (if at all this applies coz i do not know what kind of website you have got)
- Affiliates (Again if it applies)
- Blogrush (This is John Reese's new widget it brings free traffic to your blog)
- Submit articles to several article directories (this might help you a bit with your seo too)

These are somethings to begin with then you can test and track and decide which ones work better for you and continue with them and chuck the rest.
