marketing my new directory

Hello all

Im getting close to the point where i will be releasing my niche book directory to the world,

what tips and tricks do people have? also ill be putting a link on here for anyone with book sites or author sites etc to add them

the site has a pr of 4 on the main page already from the old version so hopefully this will appeal

I would say one of the first things you should do is submit your site to all the free directories currently available. See Dan's list at http://info.vilesilencer.com
Another good thing would be to write some articles relevant to your specific niche, and post them on article directories. Padawan has a list here: http://www.info-sales.co.uk/article.htm

 

you can also use another free directory list www.directory-submission.net/directory-list.htm

 

Search Google for forums related to book & author sites. Check to see if any of these forums has and advertising forum, and post links there.

Also, submit your site to places like http://www.strongestlinks.com, and other directory lists, especially those that have niche sections, like Dan's that I mentioned earlier.

I have found that relevant forums and directory lists are the best sources of traffic
