Hay Webmasters , Well as you can see im new to the place, but im looking for some good tips. im one of the owners of www.mobs-law.com, which is a online texted based game and growning kinda fast. Now what im looking for is some tips on getting it good and fast traffic now we as a group are defferently gonig to be putting money into it but we need tips on where to go? & What to do? Free traffic is nice. But also we are wanting to buy ad space image mainly (468 x 60) texted is ok as long as it gets traffic. Best thing for you to do is to try to find as many link directories for games and so on as you can, make sure its listed in dmoz and try to buy a few relative advertising spaces even look at google adwords where you wont be paying much per click
My site only has text links available (banner ads at the end of this month). It's a good idea to advertise on forums where people are into gaming and entertainment. Age groups about 12/14 - 28? From my point of view, without good branding you won't get far with SEO and such. Since games like that can be pretty addictive, I'd say your best bet is to post in gaming forums asking people to try your game. Just make some posts before doing that. If you have done a proper job creating a good game, it'll pick up fast. And don't forget to use your users' emails! Email them asking to invite their friends - even provide incentives such as ingame gold (or whatever you have there). You won't believe what a few games would do to get advantage.
