I have've seen evidence that women's and men's behaviour on the Internet are very different. Is this true and what are the differences? If it is true what implications does it have for online marketing? In other words if you are targeting a market by gender, how would you reach women, say, on the net? this is what i have so far........ do u think i can do better?
Maybe look into changing dynamics in foreign relations.... who's an ally of who and who hates who changes so often it can seem ridiculous. So look into marketing efforts of international corporations whose products have mass appeal. How can they use Internet marketing (or any kind of marketing really) to make a brand rise above nationalism. - don't know... just a thought.
The internet sure is transforming the way business is done! There are many ways websites perform online marketing: E-mail Collection - Tell a friend, Polls, Newsletters, etc. Forums Classifieds Directories The list goes on and on, most internet business do not grow overnight unless you have a huge advertising budget. Actually... I was listening to some news regarding PepsiCo this morning with an international issue. I considered blogging about it, but for the life of me I can't remember where exactly it took place now - had something to do with it their products being banned in a specific location and the ban being overruled by the national courts I believe. Do a search on that. Pepsi and Coke are the kind of company I'm talking about. No matter how much people may say they hate America in some places, chances are that they've still heard of those products and they don't hold it against them. So find out what they do while developing their brands internationally (brand identity as a whole - from the differences in the products - like the different Coca-Cola Blak between the US and France for example - to packaging to how they advertise and market to appeal to the different groups).
