Hi there you guys! I run a company that has expertise in Flash and design work as primary, but we also do solutions in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, JavaScript. We have gotten a lot of projects to develop, but now we are looking to get more structure on our marketing, but we are not certain of which methods would be the best ones. We dont believe SEO is the right strategy in this matter, so we were more thinking of a structured campaing in a business magazine. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? We are looking forward to target serious companies that already have a solid company running. . Adam
Is there a particular industry(ies) that you design for? Try taking a look at some of their trade press advertising to see what types of print advertising they do. You can also ask for a rate card to get an idea of costs. You can also try to contact some of the "serious companies" to get an idea of how they choose suppliers. They may have a list of preferred suppliers. You may have to formally bid for a job.
So actually contact the bigger companies to find out how you can apply for being their supplier? That sounds like a great idea! And what about the industries? We have refferences from different industries, so you mean, we should target those ones? How for instance? What is the rate card you are talking about?
i think to marketing not difficule but must have clear tragedy short so long time. You have to know person who your company servies is directed toward? due to you have tragedy to enter. That tragedy is bold time, cost and human. Marketing tragedies can thought telecom servies, TV, communications servies, newspaper...online is effectly solution.
Different industries will have their own magazines and newspapers, so you if you advertised in them you would be targeting the people you want. A rate card is a chart that shows the cost of advertising in a magazine based on how big the ad is, how many colours you use, the circulation it reaches, how many times you run the ad, etc. Print advertising can be pretty expensive, so you are going to want to know the cost before you commit to anything.
