Can anyone describe ways used to market like 20 websites at once? I don't really needs serps, just to maintain a current PR. I was thinking of directory submissions perhaps 100 to each site and do some of the same with social book marking? Any other techniques will be appreciated.
do some quality submissions to good directories. do some social bookmarking. but dont forget serps, i think serps are not to be forgotten.
With 100 sites, you will try to cross link them. Google will pick up on this instantly. Duplicate content and same IP subnet. Therefore you will move the link pages to different IP addresses but this also does not work (Duplicate Content). So, finally you will randomize the order of the links to make "new content" and Google will see the reciprocal link pattern. And finally, you get all 100 links on a series of pages. But they become a PR 0 or 1 page and the 100 links share the PR1. Not worth it. Bulk marketing is what everyone has been trying to solve for the past 8 years. Change you concept to put "one site on one page" that is a PR1. This will be more "applied PR" than any shared PR concept I've found to date. One thing about being a dad of a 10 and 12 year old is they can do the work. They are doing most of the work that is recommended here http://www.catanich.com/link-popularity-enhancement.asp You would be very supprised on how much work can get done to "get off grounding". Or $20 and a movie. Also, did you think of becoming an editor for DMOS? Humm... PM me
Here is a resource for information - there are some good articles in the blog and more within the directory itself.
