Marketing Ideas?

    Hey guys,

    I am starting up a new diabetes website which I would like to start getting some propper traffic now but need some marketing ideas if anyone is happy to share their input.

    Diabetes Information

    I don't mind spending money but to begin with I don't really have much in the kitty.

    I am looking for all kinds of traffic sources including search engine, direct, linking etc.

    So please share your suggestions.

    Find some diabetes forums and chat rooms. Ask how much to buy a link on their page. Write some interesting posts to their community, read their signature policy and if it's allowed, post the link to your site.

    You can find some blogs in your niche and comment on their posts,will get some traffic.If don't have money you must spend more time indirectly attracting visitors,find which sites are popular in your niche try to get some of their visitors.

    I think becoming an active and valuable contributor to diabetes forums would be the best way to go.

    If you have limited funds the best way is to write articles. You may consider joining isnare they will distribute your articles to thousands of directories.:)

    Use Social bookmarking to promote your site, or hire some guys from the Marketplace section, for 30 bucks they can submit your site to 20-30 social sites...

    I suggest you should write a few parts of the related articles, then submit then with a link back to your blog to article directories, and also you need to find diabetes discussion forums through big-boards.com, and also try to look at yahoo answer about peoples asking for diabetes issues, if possible reply to their questions with a link back to your blog too.

    Next, use blog tracker software to locate those blogs related to your niche and start exchanging links with them by posting relevant comments on the blog topics to grabs the owner attentions.

    And then keep promoting it with the same way for about a month, you should be able to see the result twinkling to your site. :)
