Start social Bookmarking, Directory Submission, Blog commenting, Press release & classifieds for boost up your website.
For any business marketing you need to implement it into your business model, you need it as a seperate business plan in a sense. firstly you need to outline what you are looking to achieve from your marketing, in this case it is purely is public awareness which will develop other aspects of you marketing but its your focus. The best and most effectice way is word of mouth - get yourself meeting at people either at networking events or seminars etc, get some business cards out to people get talking with them. Using the internet is obviously a great tool however it can have a negative impact on the business, any posts you make on forumns are open for abuse and scrutinizing by other members, sometimes other embers debating with you gives you a good opportunity to show oof the companies knowledge and moral standing. But be carefull as they can make a fool out of you if you let them. As Psandl suggested do some press releases, they are free, all you need to do is write something up and send it to a newspaper. Now there is miss interpretation when it comes to press releases, you need to write about something relevant to your industry and that does not directly advertise your company. For example I own a marketing company so I write an article about how the resecion has caused many business to scrap their marketing activities as it shows no direct value or income, then I can outline why it is so important an effects it would have on a business, you can add some advice in there etc. at the bottom have a good picture of either you as a Director or the company logo along with your name, position and webiste. With press releases the editor has to be convinced to put this in his publication so dont just email it to him, give him a call develop a relationship them. There are also some good online business networking tools, in the UK we have a few some examples are Linkedin and meettheboss google them and have a look. These are some cost effective and simple idea's if you give me an idea of what budget you have I can give some solutions that would be more long term.
Link Building! is only the virtual process to promote your sites among search engines however there are also other methods working effectively like Blog Commenting & Social Bookmarking also doing well
I would concentrate on just FORUMS, why try and "create" traffic when you can just go where the traffic is already at? I have used forums with great success. Best Regards, Micheal
really very sensible though that u have shared here. Even i found some very good points out of your explanation. Thanks
By "Blogs Posting", do you mean blog comments, or posting on other people's blogs as a guest author? I think both are good methods of marketing. Your list is a good start, but I think you could add social bookmarking, promotion on general social networking sites, and maybe even some link exchanges.
I am not sure why you are even asking... If you are an SEO and marketing firm then that is something you should know. I would not want to spend money on a company that claims to be a marketing firm, yet is asking on a public forum, with an SEO signature, on how to do their own work? That simply goes beyond understandable to me... SORRY!!!
Worth repeating. The ignorance on this board never seems to stop...both from the original posters and from the ones who give serious replies to them.
get a few large (and relevant) fan pages to blast out status updates about it. See the advertisers section of paidstatus.com.
For any business which going to be developed must be advertised every were, so that they can get good result. so u must concentrate on directory submission, forums, blogging, posting an article........ Domain Name Registration
Its always good to have ideas from other experts you never know what you might be missing. No one is perfect there is always room for improvement. But I get your point
