Hi, I'm looking for some unique marketing ideas to generate leads for my website design company. We've typically used tradeshows, networking, and referrals. I figure most of the people in this forum must have at one point or another worked in or ran a website design business. Anything involving viral/guerrilla tactics would be much appreciated. We're toying with the idea of running some type of contest, with the winner getting a free website - and the runners up being leads we can close. Thanks in advance. Make some crazy wacky video and put it on Youtube. Make several. The weirder and funnier, the better. You might get one that goes viral.
Good Idea Gbancrig. I've typically focused on local traffic from my city, and the surrounding area. Are there any ways to get extra eyes from my area onto the Youtube video, or would my strategy with Youtube be to branch out and try to get some remote jobs?
what about this : 1- find and contact popular blog 2- offer them some generous offer (free of cource). the purpose is generate (huge) traffic to your website/webpage 3- in your webpage, hold a hot contest. to make it a great success consider some rules like : "HEY guys, if you want to win .... do this" *add me on twitter and Re-tweet *join my facebook fan page and share with your friends ...well, I guess, you get the point. just be creative and don't be afraid to TRY. coz you can measure a success whatever how smart is your strategy TILL you JUST DO IT. best,
