    Hey Guys,

Ok, I have been doing SEO for about two months and still cannot make any sales. Last time I asked many people said I was getting enough traffic but, my site was not excatly professional, or even inviting. So now I went back to the drawing board and redesigned my site to look very professional and inviting.

Yet Still I have not got any sales. So can anyone help me with this large problem?

My site is www.nnforyou.com and last time I checked I had about 15,000 - 30,000 hits per a month and I had about 200 to 300 unique visitors a months...

    Any help in greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Nick

You get 15,000 - 30,000 hits a month with that site?
That is pretty darn good. I checked your site out and here is my first impression.

    1. When I got to your homepage, I had no idea of what your site was about. There is a huge picture of something (not sure what it is) in the most valuable location on your site.

    2. The rest of the site is nothing but smaller big pictures.:) And the border around them really stinks. ie catalog catalog catalog...spring is here spring is here... Looks bad, cheap.

    3. Ok, so now I am trying to figure out what this site is about. And I am doing this only because I am trying to help you. Normally, I would have closed the window within seconds of seeing your homepage. Ok, so I look back on top and see your logo, Neighbor Nick's..Making life special again. Still, really have no clue as to what you are offering me. I come back to your forum post and see Exotic Gifts.. Aha, you must be selling exotic gifts. I look at your domain name and see nnforyou.com. Now I feel bad because I should have known by your domain name the you were selling gifts.;)

Not trying to be harsh. Actually, those gifts look pretty good. You have a good niche. What you might consider doing is:

    1. Keyword research. Find out which of your products are being searched for and are in demand. Use those products for your home page. Part of your keywords should contain gifts, exotic gifts, maybe unique gifts etc etc.

    2. Replace that half page picture with a smaller image and put some content on there. The only content on your homepage are the links to the different pages of your site. Tell the visitor what they can expect to get from your site.

    3. Use smaller images (thumbnails) on your homepage and allow the user to click it to see the larger image.

    4. I clicked on the picnic basket image and end up on a page with a water fountain and a bird house. What the heck?? And, there are no prices or even a description of either of those. Geez..

You still have a lot of basic design work to do. For example, when I clicked on the picnic basket, I expect to see a page that told me all about that basket. Not only a description and price, but why I must buy that today. Then for SEO, you change your Title, meta description, and keywords focused on nothing but that basket and try to include your main keyword gift, or whatever.

    Hope this helps.
    Good luck,

    Zeek

The website looks simple but the choice of products are very limited. I think you may increase the choice of products to increase your sales.

Dear friend first of all change the name of url of your site. Give a unique and related to theme based name..Second design your site through user's point of view..Choose the specific and sales targeted keywords like "Buy cheap gifts"
Create the effective meta tags for each page..

Nick, you are not even trying to make that site look good.

It's like, you didn't even listen in your past threads on this.

First thing I noticed is that you do not have much of a selection on the home page. I logged off after that.

And, again, organic traffic is notorious for not buying anything. Some may buy, but just about all hop from site to site, window shopping.

Do not foucs on that kind of traffic.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but either listen to others who have more experience, or just stay dead in the water.

Why not start a niche blog - you can use it to drive traffic, get quality backlinks, and of course promote some items you are selling.

I think it is a good long term investment!
