    Hi everyone.

I have just started my first real blog, http://www.paintballblog.co.uk

Do you have any tips, advice, suggestions ..etc on how I should go about promoting it? Thanks.

Post in paintball forums (don't spam). Review paintball websites and locations and email the sites to point them at the review.

Stick some youtube videos on your site and on youtube.

Add your URL to your signature link here. You'll get plenty of responses including spam, but you'll get some traffic that way too. Also, write some articles and submit them to the article directories about paintball and have three links back to different pages on your site.

Thank you all for your responses.

A question regarding link development, should I stick to Paintball related sites or will I benefit from any backlink I can find?

Concerning link development: do both. Concentrate on links in your field, paintball, but seek some others as well. The more publicity, the better for you.
