Hello, This is my first post in this forum. I have recently started a screen printing business (mostly t-shirts and other apparel). I have been hitting my local area for the last three months and it has been a great success. My prices are low and my quality is great. I have fast turn around times, usually 3 to 4 business days, and now have a small faithful client base. However, I want to expand. I think the internet is the right way to go. I caught the attention of all the local business owners by these two specials, 1 color print for $3.50 a tee minimum order of 12 and 2 color prints for $4.50 a tee for a minimum of 12 shirts. I hope to utilize these same specials online to generate and expand my business. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Heath
Hey mate nice going so far! Well, first of all, I would suggest getting yourself a website (if you haven't got one already) and then trying to bring in some orgranic traffic through google. Your prices are competitive enough, so all you need is traffic. There are a ton of possibilities, here are a few: -Search for forums and just drop a few lines about your business (build up your post count a little though, don't be a spammer) -Get yourself a twitter account and start marketing your business through twitter (check out twitterfall.com to get targeted followers) -Look into facebook as a marketing platform. Start a fan page for your business, invite some friends (there are many free tools to get targeted fans, just ask google) and start pushing your services. -Have a look at social media. Reddit.com, for example, is a great place to promote your business (again don't be a spammer, participate in the community for a little, then just drop a line about your business, offer some discounts etc.) There are many more, I can't think of right now. PM me if you need any SEO services, we'll work something out. Good luck with your business mate!
Thanks for the advice! im going to set everything up tonight! the website is underway... im making a simple one right now, and have a website developer working on a more complex site.
Hey! Let me know when you get this website up and running and we can talk many upon many other ways to get you some massive exposure to it.
Yeah very well said , also you give away discount coupons on printing forums and other online forums and websites for your priniting jobs
I know this may be a bit of work, but if you are creative enough, design some different t shirts that tell a crazy story and video it, then put on You Tube etc, then send the link to everyone you know and ask them to send to their lists. The secret is that the video must be crazy/good enough for people to want to send to their friends.
Search engine optimization is the best way to market online your business. When you complete the development of your website hire an experienced SEO to maximize you Return on investment (ROI).
Create T-Shirt and other merchandize that reflect the current trend (maybe shocking). Image when someone buys a t-shirt that says "Remember.kids Schooting at school, isn't cool", he/she wears it to schoo and they will ask him where he bought it
Thanks for all the nice and useful information. I really like your thread very much. Printing Graphics Graphics Printing
