Marketing Group buying deals websites.

Hi,

I want to promote a groupon clone website. I need experts advice. Please tell me some ways to promote such a group buying daily deals website.

 

So is your client thinking that you are a marketing expert? Or are you doing some different work for them? I only ask as this should be a very simple answer with how to start.

 

maybe try some SEO first then start posting your ad on forums, discussion groups etc

 

Hi for group buying websites as per my experience as groupon developer ,business planner for groupon sites best way is to promote it through electronic media TV commercials News papers , , facebook and youtube,Twitter are also great source for such sites .. as it is concerned with advertising in local areas so buying ad spaces from local media also costs you less money ,apart from that ppc and seo are also good sources

 

My advise is, invest time in Facebook marketing, that's whr you products and news goes meme. Also make sure you promote your website, what you do everywhere. also do relevant marketing for the relevat feautured product. let's say if you are selling domain, you would want to promote it in places whr ppl talks about domain.

 

Would cross promotion in other 'deals' and competition sites work also.... redflag deals, slickdeals etc, forum members there are always looking out for good deals and would be likely to try out a new site.
