Marketing games in South East Asia

Hi

I am looking at Marketing a Sports events (comprising of 39 sports) to be held in the last quarter of this year. The target region for the Online Campaign in the South east asia region. I was wondering advertising on which websites would generate great interest in the event. I am open to local sites as well as pan asian sites.

Can you specify the details more specifically? Is it an event in one location in one country? China is a hard nut to crack, they have so many restrictions (on the web & in the law) I wouldent even bother.

 

I wouldnt be a good guide in those areas..try dong surchin google or something and contact web admins ..

 

Use myspace like sites. That is where your market segment is based.

Thanks or our inputs and let more come in.. yes, the event is be held in west asia and ahtelets from South East Asian countries will be competing. So we need to market the event to the generl public in these countries

Don't forget press releases to the South East Asian media. Also, contact the sports associations and councils of the target countries, especially if you welcome their atheletes. If your event will help create tourism opportunities for the host country, then tie up with the tourism body too. They will help you with promotion.

You should organise something in Singapore, where I live. We're very good at hosting big events.
