Depends on what your sites objectives are and the types of income streams your wanting in return for your investment? You can increase your online presence through ad word campaigns, viral marketing, ezines submission etc. For me personally I always try and off set my paid advertising with income coming in. In other words I use my websites advertising space to my best advantage, I rent my space out and get good income from it, for some of my sites my most wanted response is to increase my online list, and at the same time I'm earning between $1000.00- $1500.00 per month in advertising rental. Remember this is off one site I'm spending $900.00 per month in advertising but in return I'm getting around 600 visitors per hour. So for me thats a good return on investment Just thought id share whats working for me, it's not hard to set up once you know how.
Thanks for sharing your point. Ad word campaigns, ezines submission, article submission, blog posting, forum participation, social bookmarking are already in our approach. But all these were not of much help as the end result is not of instant benefit. I am looking for some marketing fundas which can give instant benefit
Are you using a newsletter or automation follow up software like eweber which notifies them when you have something new for them to look at? Constant contact makes for happy clients who return whenever you let them know something new and exciting is available on your site.
There are plenty of ecommerce sites .So think different. You can try adwords, social bookmarking and many more. I can offer you marketing service.PM me if you are interested in.
We are already doing that, can you advice for something new or any techniques that can show results in short term.
I kind of agree, but now many companies want to reduce cost of promoting anything, so online promotion seems to be the best, cheapeast and easitest way now. I have a B2B website which can also help with promotion. Just spread the word here.So if you are interested, please let me know. Thanks Kitty Myekoo
You might want to try focusing on world-of-mouth methods...maybe go to forums for your particular niche and get to know people, get in their heads and see what they're thinking.
your cost effective route is affiliate marketing (have a chat to the guys at shareasale really low cost for merchants/retailers) - not sure what your margins are but should be workable. i would explore some exact match campaigns using Google adwords. have you sent any pr releases, some glossy mags may pick up on your site if you have a good enough angle. mags are always looking for products you may get into some Xmas gift Guides. good luck
