Marketing for a small program

Hello

I developed a small application and a homepage for it. I already entered it in some software directories, but need a few tips on further marketing.
It features a free and and a paid version.

Try to get features on software sites like Softpedia, MajorGeeks, Download.com, etc.

 

You've already missed a good way - why not include it in your signature here?

 

I tried at majorgeeks and download.com. Both didn't add it without any reason.
You can have a signature after 10 posts. I don't wanna spam the forum to recieve this. When the time comes

 

Maybe they decided it wasn't good enough. Try to improve it and submit again.
The traffic these sites receive is amazing and it would be a great promotion for you.
Check some smaller software sites as well.

 

Maybe use something like PAD submitter to submit your software to lots of software sites..

I havent used these or have experience with PAD but i know you create a kind of xml file with software details..

thx. I did submit it with PAD. some sites won't bother without it and it is easier for me too.

I doubt it is not good enought, they have all kinds of crap there

 

Indeed! Isn't it amazing? I wonder do they get paid to feature some of the crap you find there...
