Hi, I was wondering about what fads you hated and what fads you thing we're in right now?
I did an article about the biggest ones I can think of here: https://datadumdum.com/marketing-fads-that-failed-miserably-9a046fe74e3a#.rvazk1bk7

    Is there anything else?

I think that page missed the point of marketing tools very badly. Most of what he pointed out are marketing tools, not fads. If one would rely on only one way to get revenues (for instance, just focusing only on banner ads) then of course you will fail in the long run. No serious company or business will rely on only one way to promote services or products; usually it will be a combination of methods that would work. So, for instance, a company might invest some on billboards, then some on TV and radio, then some on social media, etc. Successful products would mean investing much on getting people to notice it so that revenues would return as well. So those aren't marketing fads, but they are marketing tools.

Yeah, marketing tools that were fads and have dipped in usefulness. Of course you don't just use one marketing tool.
