Hello there, In addition to marketing my insights from God as a teaching/devotional material, I am also interested in marketing this very specific product. Well, actually 2. I am friends with a young lady who has an exceptional talent for vocal arts. I think that with the right "discovery," she would have an EXCELLENT future in the Southern Gospel field, maybe also in the Contemporary Christian field. However, marketing her, at least in my opinion, would seem to be a big challenge. There are a few practical marketing things I can do, such as getting her at free events, churches, etc. But, I'd like to see if I can help "spread the sound" and get her out there. How can IM help me? Also, along the same thread, I have a comedy monologue that I do. It's an old skit done from several years ago, and the copyright is up on it. I think that, with the modifications I have done, it would be a big hit. Again, I need to get the word out. Problem for me is, so far, I just have one sketch. The hope would be that once the right person could hear it, he could get me some more stuff, which, with my mannerisms and way of speaking, we could make it successful. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks. There are a few Christian directories, such as Crosswalk, etc. Be sure to get in those. Also, exchange links with other Christian sites. The more traffic slowing to the site, the better. I didn't quite understand about the "IM" part of your post. I'm probably missing something obvious. Good luck.
I just thought that IM would give me a unique venue in which to market. For example, this young lady, if I really wanted to market her talent and ability, there would be a lot of "leg work" involved, which, is not a bad thing, but, there are also thousands in the same venue that are trying to get their name out there. I am looking to incorporate an apparently untapped field to get her out there. Same goes with my comedy skit. I KNOW it'd be a winner, but, I'd have to find a producer to listen, get backing that way. If IM would work for me, then I could get the word out quicker, and maybe simply from Internet sales, get the desired revenue and exposure for my product. Ultimately, one of my desires is to release clean, family based comedy skits, that would make me the new "Jerry Clower," or something like that. (I bet I really dated some of you guys on that one, eh?" With ever increasing levels of filth in modern media, conservative families are looking for a means of entertainment which the WHOLE family can listen to. Jeremy
create a youtube video or videos this can dramatically get the word out for many to see. Then also create a facebook acount for her with her videos posted on the site and search for Christians users a friends also go and network at big Christian music events or forums online
