marketing companies are funny

Biggest marketing company wanted my domain.
And they didn't want to pay for it.
    Cheap basts.

When will they understand the value of a domain.
Do they just want to use it for a cheap promotion and then throw it away.
From now on I will just say the price and hang up before they answer :D

They never offer a price, just demand to know your price. This is the director of marketing that called me even. They hate domainers.

Normally thats a habit of the buyers maybe if the buyer says a price which is very less of what they expected then they can easily get it for a cheap price

Well, this is really ridiculous. In this world nothing is for free and this company wants a your domain for free? Anyways, it would have been good if you named that company so that peopel understand such companies.

Yes, I now know marketing companies are worthless.
They want good domains for $7
They know nothing about the Internet.

Many companies know very well the value of a domain name but will still try to get it for cheap. Don't hang up on them too fast, try to negotiate a fair price before giving up.

On the other hand many domainers seem to have a highly inflated idea of what their domains are worth. Some of the asking prices I see are ridiculous.

Yep you are right. Like Rick Schwarzt said that Hershey and other companies spent millions on advertising but didn't buy or register Candy.com

Same thing with Hilton and Ramada who didnt want to pay for Hotels.com but spent millions in advertising while they could have gotten so much free traffic and saved so much money on ads if anyone of them had Hotels.com
