I would like to ask of those of you that are successfully marketing Clickbank what methods do you use? It's more of a design question. Are you using Joomla, Wordpress, Blogger or just creating a great sales page with a standard editor? Are you framing the sales page? Creating your own sales page? Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Hi reapr, I use blogs, article marketing and a couple of other traffic strategies. I advise you to start with one technique, and try to master it. You could start with article marketing (Actually you MUST), and then try to start a blog... I found that the best way to succeed at affiliate marketing is to have a plan, and staying focused. Avoiding distractions, and your success will be inevitable.
I use straight HTML coding with Dreamweaver for a sales page looking just like I want it to. I'm also starting article marketing, but so far I've had great results with hand-coding my HTML sites. -T
I use a html editor for my other affiliate stuff and usually create a one page sales page but they are hard goods. Clickbank is downloadble and so I was speculating that different marketing methods may work better. Could someone in this thread define article marketing or give an example related to Clickbank. Frank S is your PDF in the other thread an example of article marketing? BTW great PDF.
Article Marketing is basically Travis's Bum Marketing Method. Essentially, just writing articles on key phrases with low competition and submitting such articles promoting affiliate products to popular article sites to get good organic SE ratings and thus drive traffic to your affiliate site for very low cost. -T
I just use basic HTML editor to hand code my sales page, so that I can let it be what I want and the results so far are fairly good.
I build a subscriber list and email them clickbank offers. I also sometimes use bum marketing to generate affiliate sales. Stan
I use NoteTab Lite to code my websites. Photoshop to design the graphics and banners. But if you don't want to waste time on learning HTML go with a blog, they have tons of cool themes and it's easy to use.
the most effective way to market a clickbank product depends on the type of product it is. for many products, using ppc and direct-linking is the easiest and most effective method, if you want more information on that area you can PM me
I use PPC traffic that directs to my landing page to increase conversions. I then like to the vendor and get a healthy conversion rate.
Well, I meant hand-coding in the sense that I don't use templates or pre-made sites for the main CB campaigns I launch, rather construct mine from scratch. I just use dreamweaver to save time in design. I do use templates for trial or 1-off things I do, but generally if I'm interested in the market, I'll do the research and create my own stuff. -T
