Ok here is the question. I think that I need marketing advise to begin my development and get off to the right start not having to switch one name for the other later. I have a .com and a .info domain name to use for a web site about cats and cat care? The .com and the .info are the same spellings. Factious wording example: healthypawscenter.com (this means I do not own this domian name/s in the example) Which one is best to build on, for which application please? Next Question: Should I build one as the web site and online store model and the other as the forum or blog site? Because I want 2 seperate sites for my plan. Ok thank you for your help, Logic...
Hey thank you rcj662, I guess then I should as well devote my marketing money upon release into the .com main site with a link tot he forum site that should be the lesser .info? Thank you for helping me. Logic...

Hello Perry Rose. Thank you did not see this thread. Just read it all though. It helped because the amount of feedback that post received, it answered the thought that the posted explained .com is better and trusted. However my posted question. My Question was 2 requests as I am using both names. Which one for the web site? Which one for the forum? I can also only afford to spend promoting 1 with links between the 2 however. Thank you for your help Perry Rose. Logic...
What scriptaty said. That is, if you actually believe that the .com is more trusted. It's not true, of course, but if you believe it, go with the .com for your main site. Because it is a hell of a lot easier to get people to go to a main site than a forum. So.... Good luck with both of them.
Ok Greatful to you all. I will get these built then bring them to review my site area. Have a great week. Your friend, Logic...
Well I would build up the .com website. You could just have a subdomain for your forum? but if you want two seperate websites then try the .info one for your blog/forum. I would just use the .com domain and have different sub domains named /blog and /forum (that shows up after www.blah.com) But it's up to you. It'd probably be better focusing on one website so you can get more traffic for that one. Good luck -- Hamish
