    I am planning to distribute promotional products as part of marketing campaign for my new business. What should I go for? Mugs or T-shirts?

    You should go for T-shirt. Because people wear T-Shirt to outside. So people can see your add. But if you use Mug then they keep it into their Showcase. So I think T-shirt is better.

    Both. And since we are talking offline matters.... getting pens printed is cheap and awesome. Take handfuls and drop them off at any place that takes a credit card. Booze stores are good. At the end of the day folks walk off with them and they circulate themselves ;)

    If you can let me know what you are selling I am full of crazy ideas. I think outside the box all day lol..

    At this case is the best for your purpose is toilet paper because people used it few-times per day...
    But if seriously I prefer baseball cap.

    Now I have decided to go with T-Shirts because if people were those T-Shirts It will be good for marketing.

    Both are good
    With T-shirt more people can see your brand, it is effective if you want to remind brand
    Mugs is fit, if they use in office, share to friend, such as Starbuck mug is very great idea

    I see that you have already made a decision but note that there are TONS of promotional items that you can use. I like refrigerator type magnets with marketing info and also thumb drives with a company's logo. Of course, it all depends upon the type of prospect/customer that you are trying to capture. I mostly target IT buyers, so high tech items are best for me.
