As a non-canadian what can we do with the .ca domain? I believe this is the site that is making the money nd not the .net correct? Will you allow the domain to be transferred to another name and kept at your address, or how will this work?

If you are not able to own a .ca (non canadians are able to own it but there are certain things you must be) I would push you the .net and just change the nameservers of the .ca to your host and allow you to use it.

Here's a follow up. Seller took 5 days to transfer the site. Seller did not disclose that the traffic and income were from his network of sites. All the seller did was show me his adsense stats, but never showed where his traffic came from as I asked.

Now said seller has pulled down his network links and the site is no more than a $20 automated blog site. Seller refuses to keep the links up that were driving traffic to the site and refuses to give me my money back.

Furthermore this dishonest seller says he stated to me that the traffic was coming from his network of sites, yet he can provide no proof of this and I have all correspondence between us which shows quite the opposite of what he states.

I have asked nicely for him to either refund my money, or restore the links and he refuses.

This is my first time being burned here at dp from an unscrupulous seller.

Let this be a warning to all who do business with this guy in the future.

 

Site was transfered in 5 days due to the buyer not giving all info right away, for example the namecheap account, which he later stated he could not have because of his location.

I was never asked one time in this deal where the traffic was coming from. The buyer was interested in the revenue. Which was shown, with the channel in place, and everything was fine. The revenue did not come from my network, My network is making much more than 100/month. As I said, the channel was shown so The revenue came from that site only.

The traffic was coming from linking the site to my network. Nothing was asked about that, If it wasnt asked, I didnt even see it as a problem.

I was never "dishonest" as nothing was asked. I provided the proof of revenue as asked and everything was fine. He never asked anything about the links therefore I did not say anything.

Its the buyers job to ask any questions he may have and to make sure he wants the site before buying.

 

Please look in the thread where I also asked for traffic proof. Nothing was shown.

I also had asked from the minute I paid this guy for the adsense code to be changed and he claimed that he didn't know how to do this.

 

Nothing was shown because of the host change. I stated before I even started negotiating that I did not have traffic stats because of the recent host change. You agreed, if you didnt you wouldnt have bid.

I have sold many blogs here on digitalpoint and have had no negative comments.

 

Where did you state this? I also asked for proof that you said the traffic came from your network of sites and you can't show where you stated that either. Total misinformation.

 

Where did I state this, at the beginning in the negotiation. You still went along with the transaction and I deleted my pms to you. Again, you should have asked more questions, I cannot read your mind. Even IF I did not state the traffic proof, YOU DID NOT ASK FOR IT. You were interested in the revenue which was shown!
