Joining top list sites you can view all the buttons for the sites at the bottom of my page 3. Backlink building on directories 4. Social networks such as yuwie,myspace,bebo Any suggestions on other things and places to go to advertise it more?
What really helped me with my arcade site was forming partnerships with other arcade sites. Good 'ol fashioned link swaps.
Social Bookmarking helped me out a lot. Bookmark your best games and you will end up with a lot of return visitors. My arcade site has the lowest bounce rate of all my sites and a high rate of return traffic. Also, as previously stated, partnerships with other arcade sites work out great. I also get a very good CTR for my ads on FunKlicks. This combined with what you're already doing should give you a good boost in traffic over time.
Link swapping or trading traffic can work well. Also, don't be afraid to try some targeted website traffic
