Hello DP! So I've decided that E-books is my thing. I recently finished my first one too! Problem is, I can't find a way to get it sold. I've done the following: Created a sales page, doesn't look really good and to my experience, sales pages don't work as effective any longer as most will believe it's all bullshit. I've published/ tried publish it on Amazon Kindle library and a marketplace I found. But, I doubt I will get any sales. Everything I read about marketing an e-book requires that you already have either a huge fanbase or tons of friends in the IM community. Any tips, at all for me? Preferably free methods as I already blew more money than I have. Note: The reason why I wont put it up on CB/CJ is because my landing page is...well as I said, crap.
What is the topic of your ebook/What niche are you in? Have you tried selling the ebook here or the Warrior Forum? Jake
Stuff it with affiliate links and give it away for free, this will give you some reader base. Bundle with email marketing campaign - if you can write books, you can do email marketing. Ebook writing alone won't make you a bank unless you write a lot, or write truly awesome. Gotta combine it with other methods for good results.
Yes I plan to sell it here later on. I got it published on Amazon today. Well I have no idea how Email Marketing works, all I know is that you need to create a huge list using a blog or such, which I doubt works. Well I am not looking to bank thousands, just a 100-300 bucks a month works fine for me. Oh sorry forgot. It's an IM related book. It's quite short and contains a very easy method that I never heard of before, so I wrapped up a simple e-book on it.
